Vera () is a village in Croatia, municipality Trpinja, Vukovar-Srijem County.
==Name==
Villages Trpinja, Bobota and Vera share a common toponymic legend, according to which the ancestors of today's inhabitants, who had settled in the villages during the Great Serb Migrations under Arsenije III Čarnojević, were called Bobe. They were fleeing from the Ottoman Empire conquest to preserve their faith. A local proverb goes "Bobe suffer for faith" (''Bobe trpiše za veru''); Bobota was named after ''Bobe'', Trpinja after ''trpiti'' (sr. "to suffer"), and Vera from ''vera'' (sr.
